TITAN-2 faces construction of the BREST-300 reactor unit facilities with an innovative fast neutron reactor of 300 MW capacity with lead coolant: reactor building, turbine, infrastructure facilities.
Currently, preparatory work is in progress: the vertical land levelling for the construction and installation base with auxiliary production facilities, preparations for the construction of open parking lots, parking places for machines and equipment, workshops for pre-assembly of metal structures and rebar cages, open areas for heavy equipment storage.
The range of preparatory work for bore piles testing has been completed. The construction of temporary roads and driveways is in progress. The specialists have commenced work on reducing the level of groundwater in the foundation area at the site. Work at the facility takes place in three shifts under the supervision of industrial safety group specialists with full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
