This is one of the non-nuclear projects of the company, while the main profile for JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, which is part of Concern Rosenergoatom, is the construction of modern nuclear power units. The project is implemented as part of the Rosenergoatom strategy “Full-cycle Engineering Services in Adjacent Markets”.
The hi-tech surgery building with hybrid operating rooms will become one of the most modern and well-equipped medical facilities in the world. At this point, the architectural and urban planning solution is undergoing the approval by the customer. An inspection of the project by the General Board of State Expert Review (Glavgosexpertiza) and completion of the contract is scheduled for December this year.
The project followed on the successful cooperation of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 with the leading Russian medical surgery institution - National Medical Research Centre of Surgery named after A.V. Vishnevsky. Last year, the company completed major repairs of the center main building. The work was completed ahead of schedule. The facility was commissioned to the customer on November 22, 2019, for the 75th anniversary of the medical institution.
The work performed under the state contract in many respects allowed to re-equip the center for receiving infectious patients with COVID-19 in a short time. Staff of the medical center can now counteract the virus pandemic while continuing their baseline activities.
