The work is 70% complete. The following facilities are fully assembled and commissioned: generator transformers, auxiliary transformers, SF-6 gas-insulated conductor.
Preassembly of 24 kV conductor is now in progress in the turbine building. Specialists still have to install about forty meters of the conductor - from the turbine generator to the generator circuit breakers.
The weight of individual fragments of the conductor is up to 200 kilograms. The equipment is lifted to the required elevation with a crane through a transport lock and then transported on carts to the installation area. The conductor consists of a casing and a conductive part. Welding of conductor elements is also performed by specialists of JSC SEM.
Large-scale work was carried out on the SF-6 gas-insulated conductor, through which electricity will come from generator transformers to a 330kV switchgear. SF6 and nitrogen have been pumped, and conductors have been tested.
