Currently, the Winter Student Construction Project is in progress in the company. Students work at two construction sites of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 in Sosnovy Bor and Kaliningrad region. The total number of project participants makes up 127 people.
The videoconference united several parties - ROSATOM State Corporation (Moscow), JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 (Sosnovy Bor), AKKUYU NPP construction site (Turkey), MAYAK Production Association (Ozersk).
The meeting began with a welcoming speech of Gennady Sakharov, Director for Capital Investments, State Construction Supervision and State Expertise, ROSATOM State Corporation. Andrei Golovanov, Head of the Industrial Construction Complex Development, OCKS ROSATOM, and Mikhail Kiselev, Head of RSB Central Headquarters, spoke about cooperation of the State Corporation with the Russian Student Brigades organization and their plans for the future. Construction leaders, Nikita Morgunov (Sosnovy Bor) and Konstantin Odintsov (Ozersk), reported on the progress of the Winter construction practice shift.
CONCERN TITAN-2 was cited as one of the leading enterprises in the industry that systematically develops its work with student construction brigades. As part of the Summer Work Session 2020, the company is going to accept more student construction brigades for several facilities: the Leningrad NPP construction site, the logistics complex in Kaliningrad region as well as construction sites abroad - Akkuyu NPP in Turkey and Hanhikivi-1 NPP in Finland.
“I can say that according to the results of previous work shifts, the students did a good job. They do make a significant contribution. It is planned that in the summer 2020, students will help our specialists complete the preparation of the Leningrad NPP-2 second power for its commissioning, and will do the finishing and improvement work, as it was with the first power unit two years ago. Large scope of work is expected in Turkey and Kaliningrad. We will take several engineering students to the construction site of Hanhikivi 1 NPP in Finland,” said Grigory Naginskiy.
