CONCERN TITAN-2 acted as a contractor for the construction of the sports complex.
Alexander Drozdenko, the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Boris Gryzlov, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Russian nationwide political party United Russia, Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Puliaevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region, representatives of relevant committees of the regional government arrived at the opening ceremony of the new arena.
The first exhibition performance was demonstrated by the Leningrad Region representative team - “Team 47”. Also, the opening ceremony was attended by all the largest sports sections of Sosnovy Bor - biathlon, judo, orienteering, rhythmic gymnastics, etc. After that, there was a friendly match between the representative team of the National Volleyball Federation and the team of veterans of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug "Northern Personality".
The regional volleyball center seats up to three thousand spectators and is intended not only for volleyball competitions, but also for other sports and concert and entertainment events.
