These pipelines are an important element of the turbine generator cooling system. Turbine cooling water comes through them from the cooling tower.
Due to the large dimensions, the pipelines were delivered to the construction site in disassembled form - in three parts, with one segment having a diameter of over 3 meters and weighing 25 tons.
Pipelines pre-assembly was performed directly at the installation site, followed by ultrasonic inspection of welded joints. After that, the pipeline was installed in the design position. After hydraulic pressure testing of the equipment, the foundation slab will be concreted.
