The award was handed out by the Governor of the Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko.
The official ceremony was held in the House of the Leningrad region Government and coincided with the National Unity Day. Among the awarded, there are heads of the Leningrad region municipal institutions from construction, cultural, agricultural, power, social welfare sectors, as well as representatives of the commercial companies, veterans movement, etc.
While delivering his congratulatory speech, Alexander Drozdenko noted: “We expect this year to be record breaking for the Leningrad region in terms of gross regional product increase. Investments volume will allow us to preserve the leading positions. Leningrad region is among the Russian Federation subjects showing the personal income increase, as well as one of the regions following the May Presidential Decree and national incentives and raising the salaries of public sector employees”.
