Information about the company was provided at a separate stand. The following company representatives talked to the guests: JSC Concern Titan-2 “Hanhikivi-1” NPP Construction Program Director, Konstantin Avvakumov, and Head of Quality Assurance Division, Vadim Riasencev.
Doors open day is yearly held at site by the Finnish company Fennovoima (NPP construction Customer). JSC Rusatom Energo International (Rosatom state corporation) is among attendees. This year approximately 4000 people from the local municipalities of Puhajoki, Raahe, Kalajoki and other towns came to the celebration. This is almost 500 people more than in 2018.
The guests had a chance to learn about “Hanhikivi-1” NPP project specifics and see the construction site with their own eyes during the specially arranged bus tours. Preparatory period prior to the construction works commencement is nearly over at the territory of the future NPP.
Interactive sites were also arranged for the visitors. Local fire brigade demonstrated the firefighting methods, while JSC Concern Titan-2 suggested kids and adults to do giant puzzles with the LNPP-2 construction site views. Moreover, subcontracting companies provided their equipment for a display.
