LNPP-2 design solution is the reference for “Hanhikivi-1” NPP to be constructed in Puhajoki municipality of the Northern Ostrobothnia region in Finland.  Concern Titan-2 is the main construction contractor for both projects.

The Finnish partners visit to Russia was jointly arranged by the customer and the owner of “Hanhikivi-1” NPP, Finnish company Fennovoima Oy and JSC REIN, representing Rosatom state corporation. On the first day of the seminar, the attendees discussed the “Hanhikivi-1” project current status, learned about Rosatom state corporation structure and competencies in more details, as well as nuclear sector trends in Russia and in the world. 

On the second day, a tour to the Leningrad NPP was arranged. Guests from Finland saw the full-scale simulator of the control unit and visited the LNPP-2 second power unit construction site.

The tour around the turbine building was conducted by Titan-2 Holding representatives: Chief Engineer for Turbine Island Department, Yuriy Kolbasov (JSC MSU-90), and Head of the Water Treatment Facilities and Turbine Island Construction Department, Maxim Yakovlev (JSC Concern Titan-2).
