Shaft line and turbine cylinders were aligned. The unit is installed onto the permanent pads; concreting is ongoing.
Concrete having reached its designed strength, the specialists will commence wheel space alignment. The turbine will be again almost fully disassembled during this process. Multiple disassembly and further assembly are required to ensure perfectly precise jointing of all the turbine components.
Laser equipment will be applied during alignment. The activity is planned to be finalized by this November. The turbine will further be installed onto the barring gear, i.e. rotated in the idle mode, allowing the specialists to check the turbine assembly quality.
The installation onto the barring gear precedes the vacuum build-up. Upon that, almost whole turbine unit will become operational.
