The works are performed by the MSU-90 workshop No. 3 specialists. They are executing the whole complex of works at the facility - installation through start-up.
The pumping station will ensure the water circulation for turbine condenser cooling, as well as all the building essential consumers (pumps and some heat exchangers). MSU-90 specialists are assembling the pumps, process pipelines and water treatment screens. Most part of the equipment is large-sized, so bridge crane is constantly used.
Two out of four circulation pumps are already delivered to the pumping station building. They will enable water circulation cycle through the turbine condenser and further to the cooling tower for the spent steam cooling. There are intake channels to the cooling tower from the pumping station. They are feeding the pumps with the cooled water.
Two circulation pumps are planned to be assembled by August, 1. Casing of one pump weighs 12 tonnes, equipped with electric motor - approximately 30 tonnes. The pumps are located at – 6.000 elevation.
