Turbine building foundation slab concreting was finalized in January. Turbine unit frame columns are currently being concreted.

280 workers and 20 engineers from JSC “Concern Titan-2” are engaged at the facility. Furthermore, Potain MD110 tower crane is being used for power unit construction.

The specialists will soon finalize the turbine building substructure (including 20 turbine unit frame columns) and in May they will commence arrangement of the reinforced concrete flooring at zero elevation.

Key targets for 2019 are to finalize the flooring at zero elevation and install turbine building frame metal structures.

JSC “Concern Titan-2” Office for Construction of the Facilities in Kursk region is also responsible for construction of the heating plant, demineralizer building and refrigerator building.

Occupational health and safety requirements are strictly monitored at the Kursk NPP site. Each month the honorary flag is handed over to the best Subcontractor complying with all the OHS requirements. JSC “Concern Titan-2” wins it three months in a row.
