Refueling cavity was concreted at the last stage.
Total of 180 cubic meters of concrete mixture was poured. The thickness of the concrete layer is 800 up to 1200 mm. Heavy concrete is used in the reactor compartment. Such concrete absorbs radiation well and can be used under high radioactive and thermal loads for a long time.
Now builders shall finish spent fuel pool lining and perform hydraulic testing. The reactor containment is planned to be finalized by the end of the year.
