The acceptance committee headed by the JSC Concern Rosenergoatom General Director Andrey Petrov has earlier signed the acceptance certificate for the completed LNPP-2 first power unit.
It means that the facility built by the Titan-2 Holding companies complies with the Design, sanitary-epidemiological, environmental, fire safety, and construction standards and regulations, as well as national standards and is ready for industrial operation.
Certificate of compliance was handed over to the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant Director Vladimir Pereguda by the Head of the Rostechnadzor North-European Interregional Directorate for the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Supervision Sergey Perevoschikov.
Signing of these key documents precedes the commissioning of the first LNPP VVER-1200 power unit for industrial operation. The rest of the final documentation set will be issued soon.
