The major crane elements have been delivered to the reactor building site of the second power unit of LNPP under construction.
This is the closed type crane which mechanism is protected from external effects. The crane will be used for relocation of nuclear fuel to the reactor. At maintenance outage, the crane will be used to locate the required equipment to the containment area.
The installation personnel will pre-assemble the crane, install bridge rail for moving along the trestle and install the crane in the design area. The works at the trestle will start once it is constructed. The specialists from the Branch who are responsible for the facility construction will perform the trestle concreting using the resources of CONCERN TITAN-2.
