The event took place in the Finnish city of Oulu, the capital of Northern Ostrobothnia, where the Hanhikivi-1 NPP is under construction based on the Russian design.

It is the largest industrial exhibition in the Northern Finland. It takes place every two years and attracts active representatives of the Finnish business community and leading international companies willing to develop their business in the Northern Finland. This year more than 350 companies came to the event with more than four thousand visitors.

The Hanhikivi-1 NPP project participants - Finnish company Fennovoima Oy, State Company Rosatom and JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 – presented information on the works progress. The project team answered questions from potential suppliers.

When selecting companies for the project the priority is given to local firms that know the market and region well, understand the technical requirements. “The Hanhikivi-1 NPP construction project boosts development of our region. Raahe District entrepreneurs closely follow the project progress and are looking forward to the soonest start of the active construction phase to offer their services,” said Eduard Musienko, representative of the Raahe Development Center.

JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 is the main subcontractor at the Hanhikivi-1 NPP construction project in the Finnish town of Pyhäjoki. The company also constructs new power units at the Leningrad NPP in Sosnovy Bor which is the reference project for the Hanhikivi-1 NPP.
