The height of the structure reached 105 meters.
Concreting of the cooling tower was suspended during the winter period. The work resumed when the average daily temperature reached +5C degrees. 40 professionals are working on site around the clock. It is planned to complete the construction by the end of the warm season. The cooling tower will reach 167 meters and it is the highest structure at the site of the LNPP new power units.
Telescoping of the tower crane is also underway. The crane is used to lift the concrete mixture and building materials to the required cooling tower elevation. Its height will go up by another 18 meters and will reach 180 meters. For the personnel convenience the crane is equipped with an elevator, which adjustment is still ongoing.
