Currently, the delivery of completed mechanical installation works and the documentation execution are underway.
The polar crane is a lifting equipment consisting of two crane beams, a load lifting trolley, a gantry. The total weight of the metalwork is 355 tons. The crane will be installed in the dome part of the reactor building at elevation + 40,100 m.
During the power unit construction, it will be used to install the equipment of the reactor building and then to load nuclear fuel into the reactor and for planned repairs of the reactor plant elements.
