Installation of equipment in the reactor building will be carried out by the “TITAN-2” holding subsidiaries - JSC "MSU-90" and PJSC "SUS" using the "open top" method, i.e. through an open roof.
At present, construction work continues in the reactor building. Concreting of the slab at elevation +26,000 (the central hall of the reactor building) is under way. The Northern Construction Department performs reinforcement and concreting of the walls and slabs of the building. Preparations are also being made to install the polar crane at elevation + 40,100.
After the concrete has developed the necessary strength, preparations for the installation of the reactor vessel will begin. The equipment weighs over 300 tons. It will be installed in its design place - in the reactor cavity - with the LIEBHERR 11350 crane with capacity of 1350 tons.
