The head of the region highly appreciated the work progress and noted that the pace of construction declared by the management of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom" and General contractor JSC "CONCERN TITAN-2" is fully maintained.
At present Power Unit 1 of the NPP under construction is being prepared for the commissioning. Large-scale testing of the reactor plant equipment is under way. Construction and installation works are going on at Power Unit 2. Subcontractors specialists are working at 142 sites of the NPP. The number of the personnel involved in the new power units construction is approximately 3500.
The Governor was briefed on the work progress by the executives of the companies involved in the project: Andrey Petrov, General Director of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom", Director of the Leningrad nuclear power station Vladimir Pereguda and General Director of the JSC "CONCERN TITAN-2", Grigory Naginsky. Together with Alexander Drozdenko they went up to 26-th level of the reactor building, and visited the main control room. They met the experts already working there, who monitor the power unit equipment testing.
