The Rosatom Training Center is built in the production shops of TITAN-2 holding. Specialists involved in construction of nuclear industry facilities in the Northwest region will be trained there.
The Sosnovoborsk Training Complex will become the third branch of the Unified "Training Center for vocational training of employees of the nuclear industry construction complex" of the State Corporation Rosatom. The first branch is in Moscow, the second one is in the Novovoronezh.
The Training Complex consists of several parts. Classrooms for theoretical studies occupy the three-storey building. A conference room and a dining room are nearby. A training ground includes a workshop and an open area, where specialists will practice skills in the conditions most closely resembling a construction site. The training ground has also convenient locker and shower rooms.
The list of vocational programs for training of specialists at the training center has fifty specialties: fitter, concreter, burner, non-destructive testing specialists, driver, assembler, welder and others. Besides the managers and specialists can undertake an advance training under ten additional programs there – from professional labor health and safety to project management.
Civil works at the facility are going to get finished at present. Soon workers will start finishing works in the rooms and installing the equipment. It is planned to commission the facility at the end of September.
